How do i make my ping smaller ? (counter strike 1.6)?

Hello , i play counter strike 1.6 non steam and i have problems with my ping and im getting kicked out of every game i go to. my internet speed is 3,6 mb/s. What can i do ? is there any command in the console that will make it better or whatever that will make it smaller!

Your ping entirely depends on the distance the server is from you.

So try to pick servers close to you, or at least that dont have to cross lots of open space, like a sea.

CS:S is better for this as there are lots of servers, and so it is easier to find one close to you.

No command will change your ping, so sorry on that one. The speed of your internet helps though.
