Not worth your time dude. I bought the game and would’ve enjoyed it, but you have to use this server called Steam. You download it on your computer and it is screwy. You have to be on the internet to play the game, even if you are playing with the bots. I couldn’t get it to work after hours of messing with it. However, there aresome great free FPS out there like Alien Arena 2008, America’s Army, and a F.E.A.R. one, i forgot what it’s called exactly. But it’s not worth your time There’s a lot of free ones out there just google it it’ll save you time and be funner too.

Where can I download counter strike 1.6?
Download dot com only has some maps and download3000 only has a fake.
Straight off the bat, you will never, EVER, get the full CS 1.6 for free unless it’s gifted to you. Been there, done that. If your willing to only play on cracked servers, you can try PacSteam. It’s a pain in the ass to install, but you’ll be able to play.
If you want to buy it, you have 2 options. Go to your local Best Buy and pick up the Counter-Strike Anthology. It comes with 7 games for only 10$. Or you can buy it online using a software you’ll eventually have to download called steam. CS can only be played through steam, so you should go ahead and get that. If you buy online, you will only get CS 1.6 and nothing else for 10$.

Strike 1: Question leads like this one are not very effective. Please refer to p. 45 in the text; you'll see question leads listed as one of three types of “Lazy Leads” you should avoid.
Strike 2: The next thing you do is tell me how I'm gonna feel “after I learn the facts.” I don't know about you, but I don't usually like it when people assume they know how I'm going to feel or try to “educate” me.
Strike 3: You take a dramatic incident (his injury accident) and wring all the drama out of it. Instead of making it a narrative, you just state a few facts and jump to the transition/nut graf.

Look at how some other J61 students handled this assignment and try it again.
