CS:S gun won’t shoot?

While playing Counter-strike source, I cannot shoot at all, even though it says I have enough ammo to do so! Basically, I’ll buy weapons. My primary weapon cannot shoot, and makes the “empty clip” noise. The same thing goes with my secondary weapon. I can’t even use grenades because when I try to pull them out it still makes an empty clip noise. Even trying to set the bomb at the bombsite still makes the empty clip noise! The only thing I can do is run around and knife. I’d like to shoot again sometime soon… (I’ve reskined some guns in the scripts, models, materials, and sound files, but that’s the only modifying I’ve done)
Well, I’ve already tried pointing and shooting. That’s the reason why I posted it up on here. I’d like to find a more reasonable answer than to “delete the game”, and my mouse is working fine. I’m 99% sure it’s some sort of file I misplaced.

is your mouse broken? This happened to me on cod a while ago, i had a guy come out and everything and it turns out i broke my mouse….lol

Counter Strike: Source Help; Deleted Models folder, how do i get it back?

the title pretty much explains it all… i was ust adding skins for counter strike source, and i didn’t quite read what the warning said, and i think i replaced the models folder with something else. The models folder is what shows you our guns and stuff, and so now my knife is invisible. Is there any way to get this back?

You can reinstall the game through steam, when you installed steam you can open it up and click My games, then right click on counter-strike: source and click “Delete local content”. Once you have done that you can reinstall the game, it will be in the My Games tab and it will be under “uninstalled”.
